The crowd that caught up with Jesus had a dumb question to ask Jesus: 'Master, when did you come here?' It clearly shows that they had not understood why Jesus had worked the miracle of feeding them in the desert! They were satisfied after a "free meal" and probably looked for more such meals, they did not see beyond! Jesus had become a miracle worker!

Someone who would entertain them. Believing Jesus and believing in Jesus is not the same! To believe in Jesus is accepting his vision and mission; to go beyond material benefits and self-satisfaction: to go that extra mile for him, even when it means I have to give up everything I have believed in, that satisfied my needs, my wants and even my security!

Religion has a way of satisfying our senses to the point that I can get rooted in its practices and be satisfied that I am doing the right thing. But spirituality, leads me deeper to the very reason for my very existence and being.

And Jesus leads the crowd to seek him, for who he is...the very essence of our being, for without him we can do nothing and are nothing.

Lord, You are my God and my all!
